55 and Better presents AARP Defensive Driving at The Center– to help provide answers to today’s driving challenges for the older adult.
* How to compensate for changes in hearing, vision and reaction time
* What to do if confronted by an aggressive driver.
* How medications may affect driving.
* How to handle problem situations.
* Eligibility to receive an insurance discount.
Fee AARP Member $14 ($12- discounted resident fee)
Non Member $21 ($18- discounted resident fee)

Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 21 at 6pm! The 2nd Annual Rockwall PAWS Annual Wine & Dine will be held at Occasions at Stone River. Tickets are $40.00 per person- or $350 for a table of 8 – for corporate table sponsors. Reservations are required by January 12th. The fundraiser benefits dogs and cats of the Rockwall community. The Rockwall Community Playhouse is holding auditions for ROCKWALL’S GOT TALENT! If you’re interested in auditioning, make an appointment for your qualification audition– held on January 14 or 15. Registration Fee is $20 per act. Prizes include $1000 for 1st Place, $500 for 2nd Place and $250 for 3rd Place!
